Mechanical Engineer Project Manager:
Coordinates and directs HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing projects. In consultation with clients and
management, prepares project specifications and develops detailed plans and recommendations to
accomplish goals. Directs, reviews, edits and approves designs created with energy modeling software
(e.g., Energy Pro 4.2, HAP 4.4), in strict accordance with industry standards and functional requirements.
Reviews, edits, approves designs created with AutoCAD, and shop drawings. Approves building energy
analysis and load calculations. Prepares and monitors project budgets; performs cost estimations and
provides recommendations for cost effective systems. Coordinate work responsibilities and scheduling
within the project team, and provides technical support to the team. Coordinates issues with other
parties involved in the project (e.g., clients, designers, architects, structural, civil and electrical
engineers; and contractors). Provides quality control and performs administrative functions including
the preparation of technical reports as needed. Assists principals in preparing additional service
requests.
| EDUCATION |
Minimum required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a closely related field, or a
foreign equivalent.

| EXPERIENCE |
At least 5 years related experience (may substitute MS + 3 years of experience).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS |
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
California Professional Mechanical Engineer License
